The core production process of water-based special effects canvas revolves around a three-layer water-based coating process plus three calendering steps. The specific steps are as follows:

 

Preliminary Preparation: Use polyester/cotton/all-cotton fabric as the base material and prepare the water-based coating formulas for the clear adhesive layer, primer layer, and topcoat layer in advance.

 

Step-by-Step Coating Process: First, pre-calender the fabric, then spray the clear adhesive layer (40-60μm thick) and dry it in an oven at 100-120℃.


Spray the primer layer (80-120μm thick), dry it at the same temperature, and then perform a heated calendering process under 40-45 tons of pressure.

Topcoat layer (120-180μm thick), dry it, and complete the third calendering process. The fabric walking speed is controlled at 5-6 meters/minute.


Achieving Special Effects: Achieved through adjustments to the coating formula (addition of silica, special...)
