Recommended storage conditions for water-based special effects canvas are as follows:
Temperature and Humidity Requirements: Maintain an ambient temperature of around 20℃, ideally between 15-25℃. Keep relative humidity between 50%-65%. Ensure good ventilation in the storage space and avoid environments with high humidity or drastic temperature fluctuations.
Storage and Protection Tips: Avoid direct sunlight and damp, oily areas such as kitchens and bathrooms. Apply two thin coats of natural beeswax infused with turpentine to the back of the canvas to prevent moisture penetration. Do not store two canvases side-by-side. When packing, first wrap the canvas in acid-free paper, then cover it with an outer protective material to prevent spots or adhesion.
Special Case Handling: In humid weather, use a dehumidifier or the drying function of an air conditioner to control humidity. Do not expose the canvas to direct sunlight, wipe it with a regular cloth, or use a hairdryer. Check the back of the canvas for mold spots promptly. Small mold spots can be gently removed with a clean cotton swab dipped in a small amount of anhydrous ethanol.
